If you loved that signature sound of 80s pop punk/new wave -- think Cyndi Lauper's Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Meets Whitney Houston's How Will I Know-- you will love the upcoming album, "Rolling '82", by female fronted band, Vices Inc.
The Pop Punk/Alternative/Dance band based out of Portland, Maine dropped a fresh new single entitled (Hold On) Gravitron. The single is the first to be released ahead of the ladies' upcoming album. And it does not disappoint. I get that sonic nostalgia listening to Gravitron. "We're releasing a 80's style album that will feature originals and covers that people can roller skate to, " the band explained. The song is filled with electro-galactical instrumentation, a driving beat, that 80s retro synth keys vibe, and compressed vocals.
"Our history always repeats. Ending at the beginning."
Vices Inc. had been continuously releasing full length albums, multiple singles, and EPs on Southie Heights Records since 2019.
